The Voice… The Voices Pt.1
“Heyheyheyeheyheyhey.” The voices whispered like hissing snakes in my head “WHAT!” I shouted in annoyance at the noice. “Hahahaha!” One of them laughed manically. He was my first voice the one that I grew to like, but now dread. He came to me one day while I was alone sitting in my room as if made him up out of boredom. That was a time I needed friends... or a time I wished I had friends.
The beginning As I sat in my room just looking at a wall I heard something… a voice I should say. “Hello?” “Huh. Who’s there.” I didn’t say that out loud though. That moment was very odd. “Who are you?” “I don’t really know. I am whatever or whoever you want me to be.” “What?” “So Nelson is your name correct?” “Yea?” I said a little caught off guard by the question. “And who are you?” “Again I am whatever or whoever you want me to be. I can sound like anyone that you think of.” “Oh, huh.” That statement always stuck with me.
2 Weeks Later “So how was your day?” The voice asked. “Dude you were with me the entire day.” “Hey I just want to seem like I care i don’t know what to talk about.” Sometimes the voice sounded like me and other times he sounded like somebody I’ve recently heard. It was strange for sure, but sometimes I felt like I didn’t know the boarder between me speaking with him and thinking to myself. Was I even speaking to anyone else or was it just me looking for someone to speak with. I didn’t know, but it brought comfort.
